Report of Officers

Principal – Davita Solter

·   The Choir and Band will be holding their concerts on December 12^th and 13^th, respectively.

·   Kelly Minor will be a part of the Student Activity Show on Channel 99.

·   The food drive is the week of December 10^th and we are in competition with Coyote Hills. 

·   The NJHS Penny Drive was a success and they were able to purchase many items for the Angel Tree and for Frontier Families. 

·   The Softball and Baseball season starts the week of December 10^th and thanks to all the help and donations to make the field at Frontier a success.

·   Soda Pop tab collection will continue through December 14.  If the school reaches 1 million collected, one student will be able to throw a pie in Mrs. Solter’s face. 

·   Tax credit forms are now available in the front office,

Chairperson – Suzanne Bergen:

·   33 suitcases were purchased for the Emergency Evacuation Kits and now there is enough for every classroom at Frontier to have one.

·   The Phoenix Children’s Hospital Holiday Cards will be sold at the book fair.  Frontier student, Kelly Minor, has created one of the cards.  The cost is $15 for 15 cards.  They will be on sale in the front office.

Treasurer – Katie Fuller: 

·   School Tax Credit/Donation forms are now on the website. 

·   The PTSO taxes are complete.  If you would like to review they will be on the website. 

·   Receipts from teachers are starting to come in.

Volunteer Coordinators – Jodi Nearing and Kati Jimenez:

·   We will need volunteers for the December 7 Holiday Movie Night.

School Liaison – Christine Fisher: 

·   Not present.

Meeting Coordinator – Stephanie Henzi:

·   November 7, 2007 meeting minutes were approved with no objection.

Communications Coordinator – Lori Wall: 

·   None.

Committee Reports

Wildcat Tails:

·   December deadline is Nov 19.

·   There is a need for WCT reporters to write a report about any Frontier activity that you attend.  Send pictures, a sentence or two, a paragraph, anything! 

Fall Fundraiser (Suzanne Bergen): 

·   Frontier has continued to be the top selling school for a second year!!

·   All orders have been distributed.

·   Look for a survey to fill out after the 1^st of the year for fundraising options in the 2008-2009 school year.

Book Fair (Audrey):

·   Not present.

Ladies Only Event (Anna Maria Tofani): 

·   The event was a great success and approximately 240 people attended!

Holiday Movie Night (Suzanne Bergen):

·   Will be held Friday December 7, 2007 from 5:00 – 8:30 pm.  There will be food and drinks (for purchase) and a free showing of ‘Polar Express’.

·   We have approximately 137 people expected (including 80 kids). 

Wildcat Family Fun Night (Suzanne Bergen):

·   None planned for December.

Pizza and a Project Night (Mari Landreth and Rhonda Zieba):

·   The first one will be held on January 24, 2008 with projects donated from Lowes and Home Depot. 

Campbell’s Labels/BoxTops (Suzanne Bergen): 

·   Campbell’s catalog ordering will roll over to next year. 

New Business

Fund Request Review (Katie Fuller):

·   None.

Monthly Faculty Appreciation:

·   This months theme is ‘Holiday Cookies’ and it is planned for Wednesday December 12^th. 

·   Next months theme is soup/chili and is planned for January 16, 2008.
