All Board members in attendance (with the exception of Christine Fisher). See sign in sheet for others in attendance.

Report of Officers

Principal – Davita Solter
· Frontier’s Finest assemblies will be held once a month, starting next month. This year, four staff members will be honored and nomination forms will be at the next PTSO meeting.
· There is a new music teacher and second grade teacher added to the school.
· The summer reading program party will be held this Friday complete with a magician and ice cream.
· October 6th is the Career Expo held at the Cardinal Stadium. It will be for the whole family (but is geared for 6th grade and up), is free and has booths and outside activities.
· The Heroes Luncheon was held on September 11 complete with many neighborhood heroes.

Guest Speaker – Deborah Lahman
· Discussed the upcoming Parenting Classes to be held at Frontier. These classes will be held weekly from October 23 through November 27 from 6-8pm. The class costs $20 per family (for materials) and offers free childcare. Learn how to be an ‘active parent’ in this class.

Chairperson – Suzanne Bergen:
· The Holiday Movie night is set for 12/7/07 at 5-8:30. The movie Polar Express will be shown. There will be food for sale and possibly a visit from Santa.
· The Carnival is set for 3/1/08 from 11am-3pm. We are still in need of volunteers to plan this great event.

Treasurer – Katie Fuller:
· T-shirt sales are currently at 430 shirts.
· The PTSO budget will be posted on the website.

Volunteer Coordinators – Jodi Nearing and Kati Jimenez:
· The Mother /Son bowling event is tentatively scheduled for October 20th and 21st. Volunteers are still needed to help chair this event.

School Liaison – Christine Fisher: Not Present

Meeting Coordinator – Stephanie Henzi:
· August 21, 2007 meeting minutes were approved with no objection.

Communications Coordinator – Lori Wall:
· The first Wildcat Tales of the year will be out by Friday September 14.
· This months WCT will be issued to every student and the October edition will be sent out according to the new forms.

Committee Reports

Wildcat Tails (Christine Fischer): No report

Fall Fundraiser (Suzanne Bergen):
· Orders are still coming in.
· Completing about ½ of the orders, the total sales are around $20,000.

Other Events (Suzanne Bergen):
· Book Fair: The ‘Chill Out With A Good Book’ Book Fair will be held 11/26/07-11/30/07 & 12/3/07.
· Campbell’s Labels/BoxTops : Party for winning classroom will be October 25, 2007.
· Ladies Only Event: This is the 1st year this event is offered. The event is held at Theater Works for a production of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’. This event will be held on December 1st and 2nd which includes the show and a social hour.
· The Turkey Trot will be held on November 21 2007.
· The Pizza & A Project Event will be held at Frontier on January 24, 2008. Lowes/Home Depot to donate the activity/craft. Pizza will be available for purchase that night.
